SHRINK HOODS

Shrink hood tubing provides important protection of goods by keeping them tightly bound and protected from the elements. An LDPE shrink hood is placed over the pallet and then it is shrunk by means of heat which keeps the load and pallet tightly together. The hood can serve as a dust cover for some applications and if printed it can help to market the product underneath. This method of palletisation is robust and suitable for storing product in outdoor conditions.

Our shrink hood tubing can be supplied in clear, tinted or opaque formats and can be printed both sides with up to 6 colours. Specifications can include UV absorber/inhibitor to prevent product deterioration where pallets are stored outside.
